My experience at Kerrisdale Physiotherapy was excellent and I always felt welcome. Rob was very friendly and most important very helpful. After my initial frustration with the slow healing of my Achilles tendon Rob told me to be realistic with my progress. He answered all my questions and made sure I understood the recovery process. Rob's explanation of exercises were thorough and simple enough that I could follow up with them at home correctly."

Rob Birdsall enjoys what he does and he is good at it. He is engaging, funny, dedicated, thorough and most importantly successful. Without exception everyone I came into contact with at Kerrisdale Physiotherapy is friendly and helpful.  I hope I will never need to go back but I am happy to know they are there if I need them."

My experiences at Kerrisdale Physiotherapy have been pretty much perfect. I break things, Rob fixes them. I've been to other physiotherapists before I moved to Vancouver, and none of them had Rob's level of expertise in the field. While I hope my injuries are few and far between, I am confident that he will remedy any that I might suffer."

The Falls Prevention program at Kerrisdale Physiotherapy is informative, practical, and a great introduction to necessary exercises for those at risk of falls.  As a family doctor, I can attest to the importance of this program. It is affordable and ideal for those who are motivated to continue exercising at home for long term benefit.  Both the one-on-one attention as well as the small class environment create an encouraging atmosphere for participants of all levels.  It was perfect for my mother in law!"

My experience at Kerrisdale Physiotherapy was a pleasant one. Front desk staff and Rob were friendly, helpful and courteous during each of my visits. Throughout my treatment with Rob, he provided answers to all my questions in a professional manner and helped me get back to my original self before the accident. He also made sure I was realistic with my expectations for progress throughout the course of treatment and was receptive to feedback that I had provided with regards to what worked and didn't work for me. I was also constantly encouraged to ask questions at any point there was something I wished to seek clarification on.

I would definitely recommend Kerrisdale Physiotherapy to friends and family based on the high quality of care that I had received during the time I was under their care."

Easy parking, location, friendly environment and qualified physiotherapists were the reasons I walked into Kerrisdale Physiotherapy seeking for treatments after I took off the cast from my broken left wrist. Rob is a very personable and good physiotherapist. He explained clearly the treatment plan and the exercises were easy to follow. What I like most is his drawings for each exercise so that I can take those home and do them correctly. Progress was very good. I also appreciated that Rob treated me with manual manipulative method which worked so much better than machines.

I adhered to the treatment plan and I am very happy to say that I have fully recovered. Given my very positive experience, I will recommend Kerrisdale Physiotherapy to my family and friends, without any hesitation."

The Balance and Falls Prevention classes were informal and fun. We were given clear instructions on how to improve our balance problems by doing certain physical exercises. We also had written instructions with illustrations so we could practice at home. It is clear to me that my balance is improving. I have greater physical strength in the torso and legs.

If you have had falls or are fearful of falling, these classes will give you the tools that can improve your well-being both physically and mentally."

~ Margaret Devlin
